Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha will soon release the OSSTET 2021 (Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test) exam date and official notification soon. Qualifying OSSTET is mandatory for the appointment as a teacher or a career as a teacher in any of the secondary schools across Odisha. Therefore, candidates aspiring to become teachers in secondary schools must clear the OSSTET exam. BSE Odisha conducts OSSTET once a year, and the board accepts only an online application for the same. All the further details regarding OSSTET 2021 are elaborated below.

OSSTET Application Form 2021
BSE Odisha accepts only online application for The candidates will have to visit the official website of OSSTET – BSE Odisha to submit the online application form or click on the direct link below. The candidates must note that they should furnish correct details in the OSSTET 2021 application form. BSE Odisha will reject incomplete or wrongly filled application forms. Therefore, the candidates must be careful while filling the OSSTET application form.
Application Fee of OSSTET 2021
Before filling the OSSTET 2021 online application form, the candidates must pay the OSSTET application fee. The OSSTET application fee is Rs. 500 for General Category and Rs. 300 Reserved categories.
Before paying the fee, the candidates must register on the OSSTET website with E-Mail and Mobile Number. The account of the candidates will be verified through OTP that will be sent to the candidate’s mobile number. Later, the candidates must log in with E-Mail and Password and pay the application fee.
Candidates can pay the fee online mode through Debit Card or Internet Banking. Candidates who are unable to pay OSSTET 2019 application fee online can download SBI E-Challan from the official website and deposit the application fee at any branch of SBI bank. After the application fee payment, candidates will receive a DU reference number.

After the OSSTET 2021 fee payment, the candidates must proceed to OSSTET application form submission. The candidates must click on to submit the application form. General Eligibility for OSSTET 2019
Candidates aspiring to appear for must be the citizens of India and residents of Candidates from other states are not eligible to apply for OSSTET.
Minimum Educational Qualification for OSSTET 2021
- OSSTET 2021 aspirants must be able to read and write in Odia.
- The applicants must have passed the HSC examination conducted by BSE Odisha or any other boards such as CBSE/ ICSE with Odia as one of the subjects, i.e., First/ Second/ Third Language.
- The applicants must have passed Class 12 examinations conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha. The applicants must have studied Odia as one of the subjects in Class 12.
- The applicants must have passed the Odia exam of HSC/ Class 10 (Single Subject Examination) conducted by BSE Odisha.
- Candidates aspiring to become Hindi Teachers/ Classical Teachers (Urdu/ Telugu/ Sanskrit) must note that passing the Odia examination of 7 conducted BSE Odisha is mandatory.
Academic and Professional Qualification Required for OSSTET 2021
