Odisha SI & Constable Eligibility Criteria
The candidates interested in the SI & constable posts must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria as notified by the Odisha Police Recruitment Board regarding academic qualification and age limit. Only the candidates fulfilling these criteria will be eligible to apply for the vacancies.
Education Qualification
Sub-Inspector: The candidate should be a graduate from a recognised university or institution and should be able to speak, read, write Odia & passed M.E. School or higher examinations with Odia language as a subject or passed H.S.C or equivalent exam with Odia as a medium of examination.
Constable: The candidate must have passed their 12th or equivalent exam conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha or by any other recognized Board or Council. The candidate must have passed a diploma in computer application or equivalent course from a recognized institution duly affiliated by the Government.
Age Limit (as on 01/01/2021)
Sub-Inspector: The age of the candidate should not be less than 21 years and not more than 25 years.
Constable: The age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 23 years.

Odisha Police Recruitment 2021: Selection Process
The candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination followed by Physical Standards and Physical Efficiency Tests. Only the candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for measuring physical standards (height, weight, chest) as notified in the notification and would be eligible to appear for Physical Efficiency Tests.

- The written exam will consist of 300 Objective Type Questions and will be conducted using OMR/OCR/CBT
- There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer
